SHHS raises $27,750 during Charity Week
The generous students and staff at Sterling Heights High School raised $27,750 during Charity Week, March 20-24. Charity Week, hosted by the SHHS Leadership class, is a week dedicated to raising funds for a charity or individual in need. This year’s Charity Week was dedicated to Princess Ember, a four-year-old girl who has been battling leukemia since January 2016. Funds raised during charity week will go toward easing the financial burden due to medical care expenses. Throughout the week various activities were planned such as a pancake breakfast, penny wars, after school game night, special theme days, plus much more.
