12.8.17 - Sterling Heights @ Cousino

On Friday the girls freshman basketball team lost a close game to district rival Cousino by a final score of 31-24. It was a one point game at halftime and the Patriots switched to a 2-3 zone which was difficult for the Stallions to beat. "We were getting good looks but our shots were not falling down in the second half", said head coach Anthony Pavicic. The Stallions were led by Ava Djelevic who had 8 points. The Stallions welcome Eisenhower on Tuesday and Ford II on Tuesday.

12.2.17 - Sterling Heights @ Warren Mott

On Friday the freshmen girls basketball team earned their first victory of the year by defeating in-district rival Warren Mott by a score of 31-20. The team was led by Shaira Balisi who had 11 points including a huge three pointer in the third quarter that sparked the Stallions. The team played smart in the latter part of the fourth quarter to preserve the lead and to put the Mauraders away for good. The Stallions welcome Grosse Pointe North on Tuesday December 5.

11.28.17 - Sterling Heights @ L'Anse Creuse

The freshmen girls basketball team had their first game on Tuesday. The girls put in a solid effort but fell short to L'Anse Cruese North 43-22. Shaira Balisi, Ava Djelevic and Layla Gibala combined for 16 of Stallion's 22 points. The lady freshmen look to bounce back against their in district rival Warren Mott on Friday at 5:30.
