Will Rose threw a complete game NO-HITTER on Wednesday against New Haven High School as the Varsity Baseball team won 1-0. In addition to not allowing a hit, Rose also struck out 9 batters in the masterpiece. CONGRATULATIONS WILL! The offense was led by Andrew Beitel and Will Rose who each had a hit in the game, with Beitel scoring in the 5th inning on the fielder's choice off the bat of Jacob Cadle. A big win for the Stallions who head into districts next Friday against Cousino High School at 12:30.

Vince Hild got the start and the win on Tuesday as the Varsity Baseball team battled New Haven High School. Hild pitched 6 innings, striking out 11 and allowing just 3 hits in the game. Anthony Morolli pitched the 7th inning, striking out the final batter to notch his first career save.  Andrew Beitel, Vince Hild, Will Rose, and Darrin Pierce each had big hits in the game. Anthony Morolli had two huge successful sacrifice bunts, including one successful squeeze. The Stallions close out the regular season on Wednesday at home against New Haven for Senior Day.

The offense finally came alive in game three of the Warren Mott triple-header tournament, as the Varsity Baseball team defeated Parkway Christian by a score of 12-6. Jacob Cadle led the way, going 4-4. Vince Hild added a 2-2 day at the plate. Andrew Beitel, Will Rose, Robert Pedder, Chris Edwards, and Chris Kaju each added a hit for the Stallions. Robert Pedder got the start and the win, pitching a complete game with 5 strikeouts. A big win for the Stallions as they close out the regular season next week against New Haven High School on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In game two of the Warren Mott Tournament, the Varsity team battled host Warren Mott. Will Rose started, throwing a complete game and allowing just 1 hit in the game while striking out 4. It was a tremendous start by Rose, but the offense could not manage to score a run in the game, as the Varsity team fell 1-0. Robert Pedder and Chris Edwards had the two Stallion hits in the game.

In the opening game of the triple-header Warren Mott Invitational, the Varsity Baseball faced Anchor Bay High School. Jacob Cadle and Anthony Morolli pitched in the game, combining to strike out 3 batters and allowing 9 hits. The offensive attack could not get going as the Varsity team fell to Anchor Bay High School.

 

Game #25: SHHS vs. Clawson

The Varsity Baseball team closed out league play with a big win against Clawson High School on Thursday, winning 8-6. The Stallions jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Clawson battled back to take a 5-3 lead in the 5th inning. The Varsity team would not be denied victory as they plated 5 runs in the 6th inning to take the win. Two clutch singles that plated two runs apiece by Will Rose and Darrin Pierce were the difference in the game. Vince Hild threw a complete game, striking out 10. Will Rose and Jacob Cadle each had two hits in the game. Andrew Beitel, Vince Hild, and Anthony Morolli each had a hit.

The Varsity Baseball team came out swinging on Wednesday as they defeated Clawson High School 16-1. Jacob Cadle led the offensive attack, belting his second home run of the year and adding a double with 5 RBI on the day. Andrew Beitel added a 2-3 day and Chris Edwards went a perfect 3-3 with two RBI. Vince Hild, Will Rose, Robert Pedder, Darrin Pierce, and Devon Davis each had a hit in the game. Austin Marsee threw an outstanding game, pitching 4 innings and striking out 4 batters while allowing just 4 hits. Big win for the Stallions!

The Varsity Baseball team defeated Clawson High School on Monday by a score of 9-3. Clawson took an early lead 3-0 in the first inning, but the Stallion offense scored 4 runs in the second and never looked back to take the win behind a tremendous pitching performance by Will Rose. Rose pitched a complete game, striking out 3 batters and allowing just 5 hits. Andrew Beitel hit a clutch bases loaded triple to give the Stallions a huge three runs and added another hit. Vince Hild, Robert Pedder, and Chris Edwards each had two hits in the game. Jacob Cadle and Anthony Morolli each had a hit.

In game two of the double header against Lamphere High School, Austin Marsee got the start, pitching 5 good innings and Chris Edwards pitched in relief. The pitching performances were not enough as the Varsity Baseball team fell to Lamphere in game two. Chris Edwards led the offense with two hits, and Vince Hild, Jacob Cadle, and Will Rose each added a hit in the game.

Vince Hild threw a tremendous game on Saturday in game one of the double header vs. Lamphere High School. Hild threw a complete game, striking out six and scattered 9 hits in leading the Stallions to victory 8-2. Andrew Beitel led the offense, going 3-3 with a double and 3 RBI. Vince Hild, Jacob Cadle, Will Rose, Darrin Pierce, and Anthony Morolli each added a hit in the game to lead the offense.

The Varsity Baseball team lost to Clarkston Everest Collegiate on Wednesday. Anthony Morolli got the start, and Robert Pedder, Jacob Cadle, and Simon Momeyer each pitched in relief. Pedder struck out 5 batters in the game, Cadle struck out 2, and Simon Momeyer struck out 1 batter. Andrew Beitel, Darrin Pierce, and Anthony Morolli each had hits in the game.

In game 2 of the UDM Invitational Tournament, the Varsity Baseball team lost a tough one to Waterford Kettering by a score of 2-1. Chris Kaju led the offense, going 2-3, and Andrew Beitel, Jacob Cadle, and Robert Pedder each added a hit.  Will Rose pitched a tremendous game, pitching 6 innings and striking out 4 batters.

Vince Hild pitched 5 and 2/3 innings of great baseball on Saturday in game 1 of the UDM Invitational against Utica High School. Hild allowed 5 hits and struck out 7 in the game. Robert Pedder pitched 1 and 1/3 innings, striking out 1, but the strong pitching performance by both pitchers was not enough as the Varsity Baseball team fell 4-0. Andrew Beitel and Robert Pedder each had a hit in the game to lead the Stallion offense.

In the second game of the double header, the Varsity baseball team had hits from Vince Hild, Jacob Cadle, Chris Edwards, and Robert Pedder, but the offensive attack was not enough as the Stallions fell to Roseville. Chris Edwards got the start, and Jacob Cadle and Matt Ferran pitched in relief.

The Varsity Baseball team fell to Roseville in the first of two games on Wednesday. Vince Hild got the start, but a finger injury led to an early departure as he pitched one inning and struck out one. Anthony Morolli pitched the remainder of the game, striking out 1. Hits were recorded by Devon Davis, Vince Hild, Chris Edwards, Nathan Bertrand, and Matt Ferran in the game.

The offense could not get going on Tuesday as the Varsity Baseball team lost to Roseville 4-0. Will Rose pitched a great game, pitching 6 innings and allowing 0 earned runs on 3 hits. Rose also struck out 3 batters in the game. Will Rose and Jacob Cadle had the lone Stallion hits. The team next plays on Wednesday against Roseville

 

 

Game #13: SHHS vs. Centerline

On Wednesday, Vince Hild led the offense, going 2-3 with a double as the Varsity baseball team battled Centerline High School. Will Rose and Robert Pedder added two hits. Devon Davis, Andrew Beitel, Jacob Cadle, Nathan Bertrand each added a hit in the game. The offense attack was not enough as the Stallions fell to Centerline 10-4. Anthony Morolli and Austin Marsee combined to allow 10 hits in the game and struck out two in two strong pitching performances. The Stallions look to rebound at Roseville High School on Monday at 4:30.

The Varsity baseball team lost a tough one to Centerline High School on Wednesday by a score of 5-4. Three sixth inning runs overtook the Stallions 2 run lead entering the bottom of the sixth. Will Rose pitched a great game, throwing 5 and 2/3 innings, striking out 8 batters. Robert Pedder pitched the final 1/3 inning, striking out one. Hits were collected by Devon Davis, Vince Hild, Andrew Beitel, Will Rose, Chris Edwards, Matt Ferran, and Robert Pedder.

 

 

Game #11: SHHS vs. Centerline

It was a shootout in the opener of the Centerline series, as the Varsity baseball team won 18-16. The stallions plated 12 runs in the first inning, only to see Centerline take the lead. With a ton of heart and determination, the Stallions came back in the 5th inning to take the win. Vince Hild got the start, throwing 3 and 1/3 innings, striking out 4. Anthony Morolli got the win, pitching 3 and 2/3 of great baseball, striking out 2. Andrew Beitel went 3-4, Vince Hild went 2-5, and Chris Edwards and Will Rose each went 2-4 to lead the offense. Hits were also collected by Devon Davis, Jacob Cadle, Austin Marsee, and Anthony Morolli. A huge win for the Stallions as they are now 4-0 in league play.

Will Rose got the start in game three against South Lake and his 3 and 1/3 innings led the Stallions to victory 13-3. Rose struck out 5 and scattered 4 hits in the game. Anthony Morolli pitched the final 1 and 2/3 innings, striking out 2. Andrew Beitel went 3-4 on the day with two RBI. Austin Marsee, Jacob Cadle, and Robert Pedder each added a hit.  A big win for the Varsity baseball team!

In game two of the three game series with South Lake, a sudden rain storm on Wednesday postponed the game until Friday, but the delay would not stop the Varsity baseball team as they defeated South Lake 11-0. Jacob Cadle led the offensive attack, going 2-2 with a double and long home run to left centerfield. Andrew Beitel added a 2-2 day with a double. Devon Davis, Vince Hild, Austin Marsee, and Robert Pedder each had a hit in the game.  Will Rose got the start, pitching 3 innings on Wednesday, striking out 5 and allowing just one hit. Anthony Morolli finished the game, pitching the final two innings, striking out 1.

In the opener of league play, the Varsity baseball team defeated South Lake High School 14-3 behind a solid start by pitcher Vince Hild. Hild pitched 5 innings, allowing 3 hits and struck out 10 in the game. Anthony Morolli pitched the final inning, striking out 1. Hild added a 3-5 day at the plate with a double and a triple with 4 RBI. Andrew Beitel added a 3-5 day with a triple and 2 RBI. Chris Edwards went 3-4 with an RBI. Hits were also collected by Nathan Bertrand, Austin Marsee, Matt Ferran, and Anthony Morolli.

Anthony Morolli got the start on Wednesday against L'Anse Creuse High School pitching 4 and 2/3 innings of solid baseball. Morolli allowed 7 hits and struck out 1 during the game. Morolli's strong performance was not enough as the Varsity Baseball team fell to the Lancers. Chris Edwards led the offense, going 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Vince Hild hit a long sacrifice fly to plate the other Stallion run of the game. The team next plays on Thursday at home against Cousino starting at noon.

The second game of the double header against Clintondale saw Anthony Morolli get the start, pitching 2 innings and striking out 6 batters while allowing just one hit. Austin Marsee pitched the final three innings of the game, allowing 2 hits with 6 strike outs. A great pitching performance by both of them. The offense was led by Vince Hild and Morolli, who each had two hits in the game. Chris Edwards and Brandon Lewis each added a hit as the Stallions won the game 11-1. Two big wins for the Varsity Baseball team.

In the opening game of the double header at Lincoln, the Varsity Baseball team defeated the Dragons 13-0 behind the tremendous pitching performance of Vince Hild. Hild pitched a complete game no-hitter while striking out 13 of 15 batters. Hild also led the offense going 2-4, and Chris Edwards, Robert Pedder, and Nathan Bertrand each added a hit in the game. A big win for the Stallions!

The Varsity baseball team battled Warren Mott High School on Wednesday, but fell to the Marauders 10-1. Vince Hild led the offensive attack, going 2-3 with a walk and a stolen base in the game. Will Rose, Jacob Cadle, and Austin Marsee each added a hit in the game. Marsee plated the Stallion run as Dominic Favazza recorded the RBI. Will Rose got the start, throwing 3 and 2/3 innings of solid baseball, striking out 4. Jacob Cadle and Dom Favazza completed the game, striking out 3 batters. The Stallions next play at Lincoln on Tuesday at 11:00am.

The Varsity baseball team opened up the baseball season on Tuesday, but ended up losing to Warren Mott High School.  Vince Hild got the start on the mound, pitching 4 and 2/3 innings of solid 2 hit baseball and only allowed 1 earned run while striking out 7 batters..  Anthony Morolli pitched the rest of the way, allowing 3 hits and striking out 2. The offense was led by Devon Davis who collected 2 hits in the game. Vince Hild added a double and Robert Pedder had a single.  The Varsity team next plays on Wednesday at 4:00 at home against Mott.
