Welcome to the Geometry Website!

Geometry is a primarily sophomore class that is required to graduate. By the end of the school year students will understand different theroms and postulates. Geometry also helps build critical thinking and logical skills necessary for everyday life.

If you are looking for more of a challenge you might want to take Accelerated Geometry. You can earn an honors point if you take this class.

Triangle shapes are often used in construction because of their great strength.

The word 'geometry' comes from the Greek words 'geo', meaning earth, and 'metria', meaning measure.

Euclid came up with the idea of geometry.
