Course Objective:  Upon completion of this course the student will be able to demonstrate physically and mentally; how a person should lead a healthy & physically fit lifestyle.

The following are the major outcomes of this class:
-Improve the student’s Resistance to Injury.
-Improve the student’s Health-Related Fitness: 
(Aerobic/Anaerobic Conditioning, Muscular Strength/Endurance, Core Strength/Endurance and Static/Dynamic Flexibility)
-Improve the student’s Self Confidence
(Through achieving physical fitness goals and seeing positive changes in their body).
-Improve the student’s Knowledge
(Health-Related Fitness & Nutrition)

-This class may be using the Blackboard Learn+ website on the internet.  This is an outstanding tool that dynamically involves the student with this class & technology.
-Each student has their own specific username and password that will be given out the first day of class.
-Vital information for this class, along with lesson plans, lecture videos, exercise videos, class discussions, study guides & tests will be on this website.
-Please plan on using this helpful technology tool throughout the semester.
