Macomb Community College - Career Readiness Certificate

Validate a Certificate

Cousino High School Seniors are going to have the opportunity to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate before graduating in June. During the MME in March, they can be tested on two parts of the WorkKeys - Applied Mathematics and Reading for Information. Warren Consolidated Schools, in partnership with Macomb Community College, have agreed to test seniors at Cousino High School on the third and final test - Locating Information, a 45 minute test.

Those students scoring a three and above (across all three tests) will earn a bronze certificate, scoring 4 and above, a silver certificate and scoring 5 and above, a gold certificate.

The scores are back. Of the 225 seniors that tested - 97% passed the Reading for Information test with a 3 or better (2009 seniors).

When combined with the Reading for Information and Applied Math scores, 88% of our seniors earned a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate. Good job Cousino students.

Don't know your score yet? See Mr. Davidson in Counseling or Ms. Perkins in Room 12.
