Mural designs must be received by Tuesday, February 7th 2012.

1st Place Award - $450 Scholarship
2nd Place Award - $200 Scholarship
3rd Place Award - $100 Scholarship

Mural Contest Rules

Please read the Flyer & application for further information. The Mural Theme this year is "ACADEMIC" and the mural may be placed in the library.

1. Any Cousino High School student with a minimum GPA of 2.0 is eligible to compete.
2. Awards will not be based on financial need.
3. The award may be used for vocational training, community college, or a four-year university.
4. Awards will only be made payable to an educational institution (for benefit of the student).
5. Awards must be claimed within 10 months of graduation from Cousino High School or they will be forfeited. The scholarship will be held for any underclassman winners.
6. Entries become the property of the Booster Club and may be reprinted or published without notification.
7. Award checks will be issued by “Paul K. Cousino High School.”
8. Designs must be at least 8.5” x 11” and no larger than 11” x 14”. Both horizontal and vertical designs will be accepted.
9. Mural Designs will be judged anonymously on effectiveness of the theme, originality, and artistic merit.
10. Each student in the competition must complete an application form leaving the “#____________ ” line blank.
