The Effects of Sound, Light, and Color on Fish

The purpose of this experiment was to find out what effects sound, light, and color had on the movement of fish. The experimenters used a Statistical Design of Experiment to test which combination of factors would attract the most fish. The group's factors were A (thunderstorm sound; on or off), B (ocean waves sound; on or off), C (light; on or off), and D (color; blue or red). The group researched the topic and formed a hypothesis.

After the experiment was run, the group discovered that the best conditions were the thunderstorm sound on, the ocean waves sound off, the light off, and the color blue or the thunderstorm sound off, the ocean waves sound on, the light off, and the color blue. This proved part of the experimenters' hypothesis. The experiments' hypothesis was the thunderstorm sound off, the ocean waves sound on, the light off, and the color blue.
