The Effects Of Soil pH on the Acidity Inside of Aloe Vera Plants

In our research we watered Aloe Vera plants with water of varying pH and then recorded the change of the pH inside of the Aloe Vera plants. In order to do this we added either lemon juice, with a pH of 2.2, or powdered lime, which has a pH of 12.4, to the 50ml with which we watered the plants. After our treatment was completed we measured the pH inside of the Aloe Vera plants and found that the pH inside of the acid group was lower than the pH inside of the control group; and the pH inside of the alkaline group was even lower than the acid group.*
