Rust in Peace
Our project was on the effect of rust inhibitors. We tested three different types of rust inhibitors: brown Rustoleum paint, a cold zinc galvanizing compound, and a compound which claimed to prevent rust by chemically changing the iron into an inert compound. We also tested a control group with no treatment at all. Each of these treatments, as well as the control group, was applied to a set of iron nails with no previous protection.
