The Chemistry of Electroplating
The objective of this experiment was to determine which of 3 factors (concentration, wire gauge, and power level) has the greatest effect on the amount of copper plated upon the cathode of the electrolytic cell. The amount of copper plated was determined by finding the difference in mass before and after running the trial. This version of the experimented showed that concentration had the greatest effect on the amount of copper plated.
