Creating Simple Holograms

Our experiment's objective was for us to gain an understanding of the fundamental physics behind this growing field in our world. We were unable to produce simple light holograms from the instructions provided in the book Shoebox Holography. In our experiment, we varied the amount of laser light and the distance of the laser light used to print the hologram. We used two different types of lasers. One laser was an industrial helium-laser while the other was a simple pen laser. We used different lenses and different setups to nullify vibrations in our experiment also. We tried using different chemical instructions, viewing directions, and light sources to view the hologram. We concluded that these factors had no involvement in the failure of our experiment.
