Elecromagetism with Respect to Generators and Motors

This experiment was conducted to determine the efficiency in outputs of electrical motors. Two electric motors, a small and a large, were collected and tested to compare output voltage to a pre-determined input voltage. In order to do this, a battery was connected to one of the two motors, and then a generator was connected to the motor. Finally, a voltmeter was connected to the generator to find an output voltage. A t test procedure was performed to compare the means of both populations' output, yielding results that both means are equal in output voltage when compared to input voltage, insinuating an equal efficiency. Practical applications for this testing include alternate energy sources and electrical conversions.
