Sterling Heights vs Madison

The Sterling Heights varsity boys basketball team won their quarterfinal game in the Macomb Area Conference Silver and Bronze Tournament last night by a score of 55 to 44 against Madison Heights. This was the 13th victory for the Stallions on the season. Leading contributors were Junior Malot Dushaj with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Sophomore Trenell Payne had 16 points. Senior Charles Sullivan played tremendous defense and also had 7 points on the night. The team next plays this upcoming Tuesday against an opponent still to be determined. 

Sterling Heights vs Lincoln

The Boys Varsity Basketball team won their 5th road win in a row against Warren Lincoln Tuesday night to improve their overall record to 7-0 and 2-0 in the division. The final score was 71-39 with the Stallions having their best defense effort of the season holding Lincoln to only 6 points in the 1st quarter and 18 points the first half. Senior Shawn Kama lead all scorers with 28 points with him hitting six three-pointers in the first half and scoring 24 out of his 28 points in the first half. The second leading scorer was Junior Malot Dushaj with 15 points. Other contributors were Junior William Johnson with 6 points as well as Percy Daniel with 6 points. Ten players scored in the game and it was an overall team effort in the victory. The Stallions next game is this Friday at Marysville.

Sterling Heights vs Clintondale

The varsity boys basketball team improved to 6-0 on the season with a road victory over Clintondale. The Stallions with the win are 1-0 in their division and have won four straight road games. Sterling Heights were led with senior Shawn Kama's 23 points. Junior Malot Dushaj had 13 points. Senior Antonio Sinishtaj had 10 points and fellow seniors Percy Daniel and Will Rose contributed 6 and 7 points respectfully. Senior Charles Sullivan came off of the bench and scored 9 points for his season high.  The boys' team travels to Warren Lincoln this upcoming Tuesday. 

Sterling Heights vs Port Huron Northern

The Stallions improve to 5-0 on the season with their third straight road win against Port Huron Northern. The Final Score was: STERLING HEIGHTS 70, PORT HURON NORTHERN 61. Senior Shawn Kama continued to lead the way for the Stallions (5-0), tossing in 26 points. Junior Malot Dushaj added 16 points and 11 boards, while Seniors Percy Daniel and Antonio Sinishtaj each had 12 points. The Stallions are off til division play starts in January. Sterling Heights vs L'anse Creuse

The boy's varsity basketball team won on the road 78-61 against L'Anse Creuse to improve  to 4-0 on the season. Senior Shawn Kama lead all scorers with 34 points and is averaging 31 points through four games this season. Junior Malot Dushaj had an outstanding all around game with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Other contributors were Seniors Percy Daniel and Will Rose with 6 points each. Junior Joshua Davis played outstanding defense during the duration of the game and contributed with 4 points.  Every player dressed played in the game. The Stallions travel to Port Huron Northern on Tuesday. 

Sterling Heights vs Cousino

After victories against East Detroit and Warren Mott last week, the boy's varsity basketball team won on the road 77-66 against Warren Cousino to remain undefeated at 3-0 on the season. Senior Shawn Kama lead all scorers with 32 points and is averaging 31 points through three games this season. Junior Malot Dushaj had an outstanding all around game with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Other contributors were Sophomore Trenell Payne and Senior Percy Daniel with 6 points each. Antonio Sinishtaj played outstanding second half defense and contributed with 4 points. The Stallions 2nd half full court pressure defense was the difference in the game. The Stallions travel to L'Anse Cruse on Friday. 

 

Sterling Heights vs Mott

STERLING HEIGHTS 88, WARREN-MOTT 81: After going off for 32 points in the opener, Shawn Kama tossed in 29 in a little over three quarters for the Stallions (2-0). Malot Dushaj (22 points, 14 rebounds) and Percy Daniel (14 points, 12 rebounds) each finished with a double-double, while Antonio Sinishtaj added nine points and eight assists.

 

Sterling Heights vs East Detroit
STERLING HEIGHTS 76, EAST DETROIT 50: Shawn Kama scored 32 points to pace the Stallions (1-0). Antonio Sinishtaj followed with 14 points, while Percy Daniel chipped in 10 points to go with 11 rebounds.
