Legacy Information

  • All applicants must be seniors at Warren Mott High School.
  • All Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • The Mott Legacy Project recognizes well-rounded students who serve as ambassadors for positive life choices selection is based on academic performance, leadership, community and school service, and moral character.
  • Legacy Award Recipients will be etched in the foundation of Warren Mott history and posters featuring their image will be forever displayed in and outside of Warren Mott High School.

    2016 Applicant Checklist

  • Completed Application (typed or blue/black ink)
  • Typed Personal essay, no more than two pages
  • One faculty recommendation in a sealed envelope
  • Obtained all necessary signatures
  • Application, signatures, and recommendation are in the appropriate order in the submission

    What does it take to be a legacy recipient? "Only real requirement is having a 3.0 GPA. Other activities a student does is carefully taken under consideration."

    What do all past legacy recipients have in common? "All have represented Warren Mott in a special way. We look for students who represent Warren Mott as a whole."
